STARTING PAY RATE:  $18.87 / hour

12 HOUR NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL:  $1.50 / HOUR

SIGNING/RETENTION BONUS:  $2000 

WORK SCHEDULES:

Rotating 3-2-2 Schedule (rotating days of the week)

12 hour shifts (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM)

Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends

Quality Assistant- Auditor Job Description

Position Purpose

  • Interprets organization/customer requirements relating to carton specifications
  • Inspect product on production line
  • Inspect pallets of finished goods to ensure product meets customer specifications
  • Train operators on quality checks and testing SOP’s
  • Enters Vendor (Raw Material) Complaints into SAP- Supplier Management (specs, non-conformance /board claims)
  • Oversees & participates- all sort activities(establish sort standards, mentor and monitor temporary employees, SAP entries and housekeeping)
  • Performs customer and internal sampling requirements.
  • Manages quality lab (testing, calibrations, trouble shooting, housekeeping, training and gauge management).
  • Perform and record quality assurance testing data
  • Utilize software platforms, SAP, WinSPC, MS Office (Excel, Outlook) PEAK
  • Maintain department integrity through compliance of Safety, SQF and GMP standards
  • Shift flexibility to cover leave time of other department employees.
  • Participates in safety and quality behavior based observations.
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager

Skills:

  • Must have good color vision
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills including MS Excel
  • Above average communication skills.  Must be able to effectively communicate with production personnel to resolve issues.
  • An excellent attendance record
  • Be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
