Reliability Engineer – Graphic Packaging International, LLC – 430 Highway 594, Monroe, LA 71203

 

DUTIES: Responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining reliability plans and programs to reduce unscheduled equipment downtime and improve overall process reliability. Manage PM/PdM maintenance resources (vibration and lubrication). Develop, implement, improve, and manage predictive maintenance programs including vibration analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasound, motor circuit analysis, and lubrication analysis. Develop, implement, improve, and manage preventive maintenance programs including equipment lubrication, facility preservation, and time based inspection. Manage asset specific preventive and predictive maintenance plans through SAP to ensure tasks effectively manage failure risk and are cost effective and sustainable. Act as SAP/CMMS data owner, monitoring data integrity and resolving issues through policies, procedures, training, and coaching. Analyze downtime to identify chronic/sporadic failures and lead reliability improvement efforts. Develop and publish weekly, monthly, and annual reliability metrics to assist maintenance group in monitoring. Review and critique outage and PM execution to identify obstacles and recommend improvements. Lead RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) process to identify root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Troubleshoot chronic issues and develop action plans to minimize impact on equipment availability. Develop, implement, and sustain reliability best practices to reduce unscheduled maintenance downtime and costs. Participate in project review for reliability deliverables during design, installation, startup, and operation phases. Manage plant infrastructure including compressed air, water (potable and process), and fire systems.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related techinical field required. required. Three years of experience in reliability engineering required, including predictive maintenance, root cause failure analysis, and maintenance planning and scheduling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CMMS required. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field and three years of the above-listed experience, a Master’s degree in Engineering and Technology Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field and one year of the above-listed experience is acceptable. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
