Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise Quality Control Team: Manage and lead a team of quality control technicians to ensure efficient and effective quality control processes.
  2. Process Monitoring: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  3. Product Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify conformity to quality standards.
  4. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to quality control to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance product quality.
  5. Training and Development: Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
  6. Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including quality manuals, inspection records, and corrective action reports.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve overall product quality.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and increase overall operational efficiency.

Plant Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Complaint(s)
    • Complaint Tracking (KPI’s)
    • Complaint Disposition, to include RCCA and customer feedback, supplier corrective action requests (SCAR)
    • Customer visits as needed
  2. Rework Management and Disposition
  3. Critical to Quality Spec Management for each Department (GoCanvas)
    • Examples:
      • Sheeting – Caliper, Type, Sheet Size, etc.
      • Printing – Print Quality, Color, Registration, etc.
      • Bobst/Inlines – Scorebend, Cut Quality
      • Palletizing – Material Verification, Pallet Integrity, etc.
    • Manage/Update GoCanvas as Necessary
      • Review/Monitor Operator Communication/Feedback via App
  4. Quality Management System (QMS) Integration
    • Drive to implement QMS initiatives
    • Quality Procedure Management
  5. Manage Quarantine Status for Rejected Rolls
    • File Claims as Necessary
  6. Internal Plant IT contact:
    • Point of contact for corporate IT initiatives that require plant resource
    • Point of contact for for internal team members that have reached out to Support Center and receive direction to contact local IT support.

Experience in leading operations and/or maintenance of a quality management system, including:

  • Expertise in typical quality standards
  • Track record of improving processes and goal achievement
  • Internal auditing development and maintenance
  • Preferred ISO 9001 / TS 16949 implementation experience

Salary Min:   $63 175,00

Salary Mid:   $84 265,00

Salary Max:  $105 355,00
