MISSION / SUMMARY: This position requires the employee to maintain maintenance inventory while assisting with some day to day maintenance tasks.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Implement and maintain an inventory control process and system.
  • Reference parts and manuals and locate parts.
  • Be able to assist in minor repairs and PMs as time allows.
  • Be able to do minor repairs on office, lighting, switch repairs and basic plumbing.
  • Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance methods and systems.
  • Be able to handle Industrial Lubricants.
  • Have knowledge with consumable supplies and local and corporate vendors.
  • Others duties as assigned.

Required Skills

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-5 years of experience in parts ordering, inventory management, and purchasing.
  • Solid technical experience - manufacturing background.

SKILLS:

  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office
  • Purchasing/Sourcing Skills

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

  • High School Diploma or GED

Essential Job Functions include the following:

  • Must be able to work either 8 or 12 hours a day with frequent overtime to support three shifts.
  • Standing and bending for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and push and pull 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear safety shoes, ear protection, and eye protection.
  • Must be able to work in areas of fluctuating temperatures.
  • Must be able to work 1st shift (6:45am-3:15pm)
