Title:  Shipping/Receiving Coordinator

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator works closely with the Production Control team, warehouse staff, and Customer Service to ensure logistics operations are completed safely, on time, and as the customer has requested. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with a “Safety First” mindset 
  • Receive, ship and perform inventory cycle counts
  • Schedule trucks through GPI Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Verify and keep accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Make AIB inspections and assure corrective actions are taken regarding any AIB issues. This AIB inspection includes doing intensive cleaning, dusting and sanitizing of the facility on a daily basis. 
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Production, Scheduling, and Materials Management Analyst, and warehouse team.

Required Skills

  • Solid knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory sytems
  • Strong computer skills
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to function within a team

Required Experience

  • 1 years Warehouse experience
  • SAP experience preferred
  • HS Diploma or GED required
