Assist in Press Department to ensure board availability and housekeeping standards are maintained. 

 

All members of the press department are expected to work as a team to ensure standards are met in safety, quality, and productivity.

 

  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with our policies and procedures
  • Work with warehouse staff and Press Helper to coordinate upcoming jobs
  • Responsible for compliance with all facility food safety, food defense, and quality policies and procedures including product safety (GMPs)/Sanitation policies and procedures. Employee must continually work to promote the orderliness and cleanliness of their work area in support of SQF/5S and other company standards
     
  • Ensure board is available and ready for current and upcoming jobs
  • Inspect for board quality and communicate any issues to supervisor
  • Prepare loads for aeration
  • Aerate loads as needed
  • Prepare and process waste loads
  • Use SAP to view pick list and schedules, and notify supervisor of any issues
  • Keep conveyors stocked with aerated loads
  • Maintain cleanliness around aerators
  • Assist with training on new personnel
  • Assist with all required maintenance
  • Maintain daily log sheets
  • Understand how to refresh SAP to view current schedule
  • Ensure proper communication between shifts
  • Return unused stock to warehouse
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Prior printing experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
