Title:  Production Coordinator/Planner

The primary responsibility is to coordinate the production process by working closely with Operations and Customer Service.  This individual is a key partner in ensuring a quality product is delivered to the customer on time and in full.

  • Coordinate with customer service to understand the specifications of a project, and provide estimates using system resources to calculate cost
  • Work with internal scheduling and procurement associates to provide costs based on customer specifications and production tasks
  • Assist in the coordination of production materials and processes through all stages of production, including but not limited to: system set-ups, tooling conversions, packaging specification, inks, graphics, materials management, printing, and fulfillment
  • Estimate the cost of production including but not limited to: sheeting, printing, pre-press, die cutting, and finishing
  • Assist Board Analyst in identifying raw material requirements and determine the lowest cost scenario to fulfill order quantities

  • Ability to stop any process that does not meet customer quality requirements

  • Ability to support GPI's efforts in Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, and other CI programs and processes

Required Experience

  • 1 years experience in logistics, production planning, or similar field
  • Strong background in Excel
  • SAP experience a plus
