To conduct Quality Assurance Inspections at all stages of production and to challenge staff & operators to ensure full compliance to the standards. To conduct training and develop the workforce ethos in regard to Food Safety & high-quality process delivery. To conduct various tasks in ensuring our standards achieve all our accreditations and customer’s expectations.


  • Act as first point of contact from the production area in regard to quality matters.
  • Promoting and enforcing good quality practices and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct quality inspection rounds during the designated shifts – including BBQ & GMP Audits and highlights and corrects any major issues.
  • Analysis of all production samples against approved standards.
  • Random sampling of finished goods pallets in the warehouse.
  • Conduct where appropriate, testing of materials.
  • Conduct where appropriate, calibration and verification of equipment.
  • Support the site in containment of faulty material.
  • Accurately sorting Quarantined Product and keeping this area organized
  • Checking/sampling of finished goods pallets in the warehouse if needed
  • Meet or exceed standards for environment, safety, working conditions and cleanliness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Conducting Glass and Brittle Materials audits and publishing results.
  • Conducting and publishing GMP audits, raising and managing non-conformances.
  • Respond to telephone and e-mail enquiries in a timely manner, liaising with relevant departments to ensure responses are technically accurate.
  • Administration of Quality Document requested from Customers.
  • Supporting NCR Investigations with Root Cause
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Quality Manager

  • Ensure that the quality hold/WIP area is well managed, and goods are getting inspected within 48 hrs of entry. Report clearly all findings.


  • Previous quality control experience or excellent packaging knowledge.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally print and/or packaging).
  • Commercial / cost awareness.
  • Computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills essential, ability to give clear written and verbal instructions, clearly understand and explain Quality issues to workforce and have good understanding of procedures and processes.
  • Able to identify areas of weakness within processes and customer specific procedures and help find innovative solutions.
  • Highly responsible, reliable, and flexible with a strong work ethic.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and adapt to a varied and changeable workload.
  • Punctual, presentable and with good attendance.
  • Excellent attention to detail.


  • 12 hr shifts with rotating weekends.  Employee must be willing to work alternate schedules that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.


  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Awkward movements while working on equipment.
  • Lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
