Title:  Sr. Quality Auditor

The Sr Quality Auditor monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products and materials along with conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes. This role also sets testing parameters and performs audits. 


  • Developing and implementing quality control audit plans.
  • Conduct quality inspection rounds during the designated shifts – including BBQ & GMP Audits and highlights and corrects any major issues
  • Identifying testing parameters for products.
  • Evaluating production stages and testing the composition, appearance, and functionality of the completed products. 
  • Training employees on quality standards and procedures.
  • Random sampling of finished goods pallets
  • Documenting defects and recommendations for improvement.
  • Preparing and presenting quality audit reports to Manager
  • Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
  • Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
  • Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
  • Maintain calibration records
  • Update and maintain the voice of customer and quality boards
  • Maintain the records of internal scrap
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
  • Create and modify SOP’s, and upload the document on SharePoint per Corporate standard
  • Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
  • Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Supporting NCR investigations with root cause
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Quality Manager
  • Ensure that the quality hold/WIP area is well managed, and goods are getting inspected within 48 hrs of entry. Report clearly all findings.
  • Meet or exceed standards for environment, safety, working conditions and cleanliness.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification in quality control is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Completion of post-secondary industry-related coursework preferred.
  • Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) will be advantageous.
  • HACCP certification will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in quality management software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally print and/or packaging).
  • Experience in internal and/or external auditing.
  • Computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills essential, ability to give clear written and verbal instructions, clearly understand and explain Quality issues to workforce and have good understanding of procedures and processes.
  • Able to identify areas of weakness within processes and customer specific procedures and help find innovative solutions.
  • Highly responsible, reliable, and flexible with a strong work ethic.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and adapt to a varied and changeable workload.
  • Punctual, presentable and with good attendance.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good math and technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.



  • Schedule during normal business hours.    Employee must be willing to work alternate schedules that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.


  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Awkward movements while working on equipment.
  • Lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
