Lift Truck Driver

Drives liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial forklift, uses elevating platform to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.


  • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, or over loaded pallets, skids, boxes, or products, and transports load to designated area.
  • Loads, unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
  • Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.
  • Records load information on tags, labels, or production schedules.
  • Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
  • Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.



Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.




Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure        manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.



Must complete RCRA Training to be able to properly handle any hazardous waste made within the printing process.

The employee is frequently required to lift or carry 0 to 25 pounds and occasionally required to lift or carry 26 to 50 pounds. Weights over 50 lbs. require team lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
