The Palletizer Operator is responsible for operating the palletizer. Individuals in this role must understand and align business operations with the palletizer function, executing the role in a manner that aligns with GPI business, cultural, financial, and operational objectives.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
- Perform all duties in a safe and orderly manner.
- Actively engaged, involved, and current in SBO process; Participate in safety meetings and safety tours.
- Ensure production and distribution of products consistent with established safety and quality standards.
- Stack heavy boxes up high on units in a pre-designated stack pattern.
- Unload, warehouse, and properly document inbound shipments.
- Help in reconciling inventory problems.
- Notify supervisor and/or group leader of any damage coming down the conveyor.
- Once qualified, instruct and train other.
- Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Assist in other areas or perform other duties, as assigned.
Background/Experience:
- Basic Computer Skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
