Are you looking for a career in manufacturing?  We have open positions in our Extrusion department.  In this department we take large rolls of paper, print them and extrude a think layer of poly onto the paper.  The opportunity to grow, learn new skills and move into higher paying jobs has never been better.


Job Requirements: 

As an extrusion assistant, you will be trained to support the unfinished end of extrusion line and its ancillary equipment.  You will learn the basics of safety, product quality and producing finished goods for our customers.  You will also be trained as a Finishing helper which is a requirement for employment.  The extrusion department operates on a continuous run schedule and does not shut down for breaks or lunches. 

Employees will first be trained as a Helper and work either 8-hour shifts or 12-hour shifts depending on the schedule in the Labor Pool. Once they complete that training they will move to the Extrusion Department and being training as an assistant. 

Job Duties:

  • Assist extruder operator
  • Load rolls on unwind
  • Unload rolls at rewind
  • Move rolls for transition to the warehouse
  • Assist operator in webbing up the machine

  • Working around high temperature equipment


 Required Skills

  • Two years or more of recent manufacturing or machine operator work experience
  • Mechanical/Technical aptitude
  • Ability to read a tape measure to as small as a 1/32
  • Entry Level Computer skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Must be able to read and write English


Other Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to work night shift
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
  • Must be able to work overtime
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • You will be required to wear steel toes shoes, hair and/or beard nets, safety glasses and earplugs at a minimum
