Are you exceptionally thorough, precise, and detail oriented? We're looking for candidates with these qualities to come apply to our Lab Technician position! Working in our Technical Department, you'll be a major part of our Quality Control processes. The department is currently running 12 hour shifts, Day (6:30am - 6:30pm) and Night (6:30pm - 6:30am) and a top candidate will be able to work either shift.


Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conducts and documents various product testing according to established procedures and instructions.
  • Operates various test equipment, including test ovens and instruments as well as regularly use various testing chemicals.
  • Analyzes the results of product testing and advises operations and other departments on disposition and possible corrective actions for non-conforming and out of specification products
  • Conducts and documents various department and plant audit for quality and safety.
  • Must be able to wear all required PPE and lift to 25 lbs.
  • Logs test data into a computer station
  • Performs regular cleaning and sanitizing of the Quality Test Lab.

 Employees will first be trained as a Helper and work either 8-hour shifts or 12-hour shifts depending on the schedule in the Labor Pool. Once they complete that training they will move to the Lab Department and being training as a technician. 

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in an SQF and HACCP certified manufacturing plant preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in Quality Assurance and a certified QMS preferred
  • At least an intermediate skill level in all Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Word and PPT preferred
  • Experienced user of SAP, Quality Windows and Click View preferred
  • Packaging, Extrusion, Printing and continuous manufacturing experience preferred
