JOB SUMMARY:
Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g.,
assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: Planning,
directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules,
volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply &
Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources.
Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Individuals in these roles primarily focus on directing, leveraging, and guiding the work of
others, and mobilizing resources. - Leaders typically manage two or more direct reports.
- Responsible for the monitoring and achievement of operational and/or financial results for their
area of responsibility. - Responsible for people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training,
and developing employees. - Progression within the levels reflects increase in scope and responsibilities as well as growth in
business and industry experience, process and people leadership capabilities, and broad
technical expertise. - Manages subordinate management and/or experienced specialist employees who exercise
significant latitude and independence. - Often heads one or more departments.
- Allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual business plans.
- Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of
organizational objectives. - Requires a comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles in own discipline and
knowledge of other disciplines. - Solves complex problems leveraging resources within or outside the organization.
- Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for
obtaining results. - Applies knowledge of key business drivers and factors that maximize performance to area of
responsibility. - Establishes operating policies and procedures that affect departments and subordinate sections
and work units. - Interprets company-wide policies and procedures.
- Develops and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance
requirements. - Assignments are objective oriented; work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organization's
objectives and timelines. - Decisions have an extended impact on work processes and outcomes.
- Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results may cause critical delays and modifications to
projects or operations and substantial expenditure of resources. - Interacts frequently with internal and external leadership and senior-level customer
representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and/or
contractual clarifications. - Leads briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or related work experience required in lieu of degree.

Pay Range: $138,900 - 185,200
