Reliability Engineer Sr - Drive Systems

  

JOB SUMMARY:

Reliability Engineering focuses on developing, coordinating, and conducting technical reliability studies on engineering designs to assess the likelihood that a product/process performs its intended function over the intended lifecycle including: Measuring and analyzing the reliability of the design, materials, processes, cost, and final products of production. Recommending design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability. Completing ri sk analysis studies of new designs and processes. Undertaking testing and analysis on failures, proposing changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requires the application of theoretical knowledge typically gained through formal education (i.e. a postsecondary degree) and on the job training.

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Errors in judgment or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.
  • Works under general direction.
  • Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
  • Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
  • Represents organization as a prime contact on programs or projects.
  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA or equivalent+ years related experience, or MA+ 4 years related experience. 
  • The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Graphic Packaging retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position.

Pay Range:   $86,250 - $115,000
