Scope

 

As a Customer Advocate III for the Graphic Pre-Press team, you will own the end-to-end process for gathering and coordinating job information with a collection of internal and external cross functional sources; including GPI manufacturing facilities, the GPI Sales team, our external customers, and the appropriate outside agencies/vendors with the goal of creating and executing digital file production produced in the timeliest and cost-effective manner.

Job Scheduling

  • Generate, update, and maintain a daily Job schedule that is readily accessible to manufacturing personnel.
  • Participate in production meetings on a daily basis for the prepress department.
  • Coordinate between the Customer, Sales and Manufacturing.

 

Job Coordination and Engineering

  • Prepare complete write-ups for both internal and external vendors.
  • Preflight incoming electronic files before placing into manufacturing.
  • Verify that all aspects of manufacturing are on schedule and that the customer expectations have been met.
  • Ordering any consumable, which is necessary for manufacturing completion.
  • Verify that information from the customer is accurate and all pieces of the Job are received be it digital or visual.
  • Communicate service issues and ideas for improvement to the Production Supervisor.
  • Quality check all materials submitted by manufacturing before releasing.
  • Gather all material and information at the end of each project and generate an internal quote to be used for invoicing.

  • Excellent written & verbal skills.

  • Ability to manage and maintain composure as the liaison between cross functional teams.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Advanced computer skills preferred.
  • Working knowledge of latest version of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Being a proactive thinker in order to help locate and provide solutions for problem areas in regard to all applications.
  • Packaging Experience, in a Pre-Press Printed Manufacturing Packaging environment.
  • Minimum 3+ years working in customer service for prepress provider.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or combination of education, trade school, apprenticeship program and work experience.

Pay Range:   $53,800.00 - $67,200.00
