Position Summary

This position involves many different aspects in the warehouse area of responsibility.  It requires accurate and timely performance of duties and availability of information.  It requires positive attitude, commitment to provide a high level of customer service to both the external customers as well as the internal customers and departments and a commitment to perform all duties in the safest manner possible.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Stage and ship finished goods.

Receive raw materials.

Put away and bin locate finished goods and raw materials.

Transport raw materials, finished goods and work in process between facilities.

Delivery of raw materials to local accounts.

Process accurate paperwork for storage, receiving and shipping.

Write up load tags on finished goods.

Supply machines with raw materials.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Housekeeping – GMP and AIB

Follow all GMP and AIB procedures

Ship out scrap paper.

Prepare out-bound loads for shipment (stretch wrap and band).

Communicate with incoming and outgoing shift personnel

Communicate with other departments.

Compliance to all company policy and regulations.

Commitment to safety

Commitment to provide high level of Customer Service

  • Forklift Certification
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude

Education and Experience

  • High School/GED diploma
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer knowledge

 

Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Remain flexible due to changes of priority and procedures
  • Willingness to work overtime and rotating weekends
