KBA FEEDER JOB SUMMARY:  Assists Press Operator in overall product outcome associated with sheet-fed presses. Interprets and documents standards related to equipment and product performance/ quality. Able to fill in as Press Operator, when needed. Keeps work area and general facility in clean and orderly condition, and helps the facility maintain high level of SQF standards.


Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

  • Assists Press Operator in the performance of equipment operations, adjustments, tests and conversions on all equipment associated with converting operations
  • Tests and inspects products as required to ensure quality , efficiency, area cleanliness, safety and AIB standards are maintained
  • Tests and inspects products as required to ensure consistent quality and operational standards are maintained
  • Reports any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures
  • Participates in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions( from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation , and verification activities) as
  • Reports any customer complaints to person responsible to enter into GPI’s Customer Complaint system for root cause analysis and appropriate corrective action taken
  • Follows all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
  • Keeps daily time and materials usage reports and records information in SAP
  • Performs Preventative Maintenance
  • Monitors the Housekeeping standards in the break room actively managing the Cleanliness of the storage shelves and items stored in the refrigerators discarding abandoned food products.
  • Assists temporary employees with understanding task assignments while Reinforcing SQF standards and Graphic Packaging Internationals core values.
  • Performs housekeeping duties
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Manager

Required Skills


  • H.S. diploma or equivalent required
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Basic computer skills, data entry required
  • Visual Color Discrimination and ability to match or detect colors and shades of colors required
  • SQF compliance experience preferred

Good mechanical aptitude skills needed



High school diploma or equivalent



Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 



Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.



Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.



Company issued Fork Truck Operator’s license.





Employees are required to work 12-hour shifts including weekends.

Occasional overtime is required.



Prolonged standing for extended periods.

Awkward and/or repetitive movements.

Lifting up to 50 lbs.

Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.

Work in areas of fluctuating temperature.
