Title: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler (Plant)

JOB DESCRIPTION The Maintenance Planner will directly report to the Assistant Superintendent. The position will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of all mechanical maintenance in the Finished Products department. In addition, this position receives and reviews each work order for completeness, validity of the priority, clarity, and accuracy of information. Other activities will include estimating maintenance jobs by showing sequence of steps, the number of craftsperson person-hours, and materials required for each task. The position also plans and schedules mill maintenance activities including but not limited to daily work, Field Day Outages, and Annual Outage downtime. Job functions include but are not limited to: · Partners with Operations Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Supervisor to ensure efficient planning and coordination of maintenance work · Maintains daily and annual outage planning in Paper area. · Directs contractors and ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements · Maintains planned work order backlog to ensure it is greater than two weeks within regular work hours · Creates, maintains, and modifies equipment BOM’s and area PM’s · Ensures Contracted PM’s and Mill PMs are scheduled and recorded · Ensures all PMs are presented to the MOPs team for scheduling · Participates in Maintenance weekend duty rotation along with being on call one night per week
REQUIRED SKILLS Required Skills · Utilization of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably SAP. · Multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines on a continuous basis. · Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word · Ability to estimate person-hours and costs for maintenance work
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Required Experience · 5 years maintenance experience · High School Diploma or GED · Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing operations, maintenance or related field, or equivalent work experience · 3-5 years maintenance planning · Leadership or supervisory experience
