JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

  • Coordinates production operations.
  • Maintains effective quality procedures, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Perform operational rounds for supervisory responsibilities.
  • Troubleshooting operational problems.
  • Perform safety auditing.
  • Responsible for communication – logs, shift reports, e-mail
  • Proper data entry for attendance – Workbrain, absenteeism reports.
  • Responsible for the coaching and training of employees.
  • Perform basic household maintenance activities
  • Monitors the Housekeeping standards in the break room actively managing the Cleanliness of the storage shelves and items stored in the refrigerators discarding abandoned food products.
  • Assist temporary employees with understanding task assignments while Reinforcing SQF standards and Graphic Packaging Internationals core values.
  • Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International’s good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork

 

 

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma, GED
  • Familiar with AIB / HACCP / SQF compliance standards
  • Familiar with Food defense compliance standards
  • Ability to develop plans to accomplish work, and prioritize and organize one's own work
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as in climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, where the activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, such as in the physical handling of materials
  • Ability to communicate with others by providing information to supervisor and fellow workers. This information can be exchanged face-to-face, in writing, or via telephone/electronic transfer
  • Ability to implement ideas and programs. Conducting or carrying out work procedures and activities in accord with one's own ideas or information provided through directions/instructions for purposes of installing, modifying, preparing, delivering, finishing, or completing programs, systems, structures, or products.

 

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

  • General schedule is a 9-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedule; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
  • Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, or riding.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 9-hours.
  • Occasional bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting required.
  • Simple and power grasping with both right and left hands is required.
  • Occasional Lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
  • Manufacturing areas
  • Performs work outdoors (audits and maintenance)
  • Works with Oil/Water based paints
  • Works with Cleansers
