Title:  Stock Handler

Primary Function: 

1. Transport loads from die cutting staging area to strippers and/or gluers.
2. Keep all machines and strippers running at all times
3. Make sure extra stock is on the floor for strippers to get with hand jack if you are busy
4. Verify job#, item#, copy on loads prior to staging at machines; don't assume the copy is correct by just looking at carton graphics
5. If stripper has not signed, dated and placed job# on three sides of load, do not remove from their area
6. Stock machine with correct corrugated for entire job.
7. If the order calls for excessive amount of corrugated, keep an extra pallet across from the machine
8. Remove empty pallets from machines while feeder is running job
9. Keep corrugated area straight and clean
10. Make a new location list every two weeks
11. Empty scrap carts off each machine.
12. All trim scrap carts empty at end of shift

 

Hazardous Waste Responsibility: 

1. Maintain all containers on and around work area
a. Labeled correctly
b. Closed lids on containers when not in use
c. Dispose of aerosol cans properly
d. Mark drums if used for waste as "trash"
e. Label containers used for recycling plastic
2. Help maintain dock area with recycled material
