Title:  Material Handler (Printing)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Remove printed loads from the printing presses.
  • Band loads of defective material for disposal.
  • Band lap waste and remove from press area.
  • Shrink printed loads for removal from press area.
  • Stage rolls in the designated areas.
  • Participate in any tasks necessary to allow for continuous operation of the process.
  • Maintain the operating condition of forklifts.
  • Follow all Plant Safety rules and uphold a safe working environment.
  • Monitor the level of quality in the products being produced.
  • Job requires use of standard forklift and roll clamp.

 

 

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to understand technical written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to accurately distinguish color variation
  • Must be able to work other shifts if needed and perform overtime work as required.
  • Capable of lifting in excess of 25 lbs.
  • Must have forklift and roll clamp experience.
