Position Summary:

The material handler ensures that all materials are moved effectively in the plant, unload raw materials and properly stage materials within the facility using a powered fork truck.

 

Job Function: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Supply gluers with pallets of flat stock material.
Unload trucks of corrugated.
Stage corrugated for case erectors.
Load scrap trucks.
Complete daily forklift inspection and document inspection results.
SAP knowledge to generate and complete Shipping/Receiving documentation, create STO's for
Interplant shipments, provide monthly material inventories.
Receive bulk coating shipments.
Process 3rd party scraps export shipments.
 

Required Skills:

Good organization/project management skills.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to work independently.
Able to multi-task with ease.
 

Required Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Manufacturing experience.
 

Candidates must be proficient in English, with the ability to communicate, read, and understand work-related instructions and safety procedures and requirements.

 

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of GPI Forklift Certification
