 To process digital artwork for print production, produce digital proofs and or press sheet layouts via Esko Automation Engine, for computer-to-plate offset package printing. Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment when needed.




  1. Reports to the Prepress Manager
  2. Experience supporting multiple Mac and PC computers in a network environment
  3. Experience with software used such as Esko Automation Engine, Adobe Creative Suites, Adobe Acrobat etc. Support Mac or PC applications.
  4. Working knowledge of CTP technology, trapping, PDF workflows and press imposition
  5. Experience on a variety of packaging and structural design methods
  6. Must be able to control workflow and be competent preparing files for CTP (computer to plate output)
  7. Must have good communication skills and be able to meet deadlines in a professional manner
  8. Responsible for issues involving safety, housekeeping and quality in his/her area of responsibility
  9. Must have an eye for detail and attention to quality
  10. Perform other related duties as directed by the Prepress Manager




  1. Requires a 4 year degree, or 4 years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Three years Esko Automation Engine, digital prepress, graphic arts and typography experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  3. Any equivalent combination of experience, training and or education approved by Management or Human Resources
  4. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  5. Ability to interpret a variety of procedures and work instructions




  1. Read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide- understand implied instructions.






  1. Reasonable care needed to prevent minor injuries to others.
  2. Read, understand, and follow all safety rules and practices. Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe actions.
  3. Correct Ergonomic work techniques are encouraged and should be a goal for all employees


ATTENDANCE REQUIRMENTS:    Regular attendance is required.




  1. Fair working conditions exist due to the manufacturing processes, but only one or two continuously present – dirt, lint, odors, heat.
