Role Summary

The Coordinator–Stores I work closely with the warehouse team and purchasing department to ensure materials are received, handled, stored, issued, shipped, and cycled in accordance to departmental procedures.

Job Accountabilities

  • Abides by all Safety Policies as set forth by Graphic Packaging
  • Must be able to attain Certified Lift Truck Operator license
  • Verifies materials received and enters receipts into SAP system
  • Utilize SAP business system for work order issues and warehouse management system
  • Reconciles shipping discrepancies with vendors
  • Coordinates shipments of damaged materials, double shipments, repair items to vendors
  • Cycles and reconciles inventory according to Corporate Guidelines
  • Stocks and issues materials from all outlying warehouses
  • Monitors and responds to incoming radio requests from production and maintenance departments
  • Monitors rotating equipment reliability efforts
  • Performs internal mill deliveries
  • Conducts month end inventory responsibilities
  • Actively participates and drives all housekeeping initiatives for the department
  • Requires computer skills using (Windows, Microsoft, Email, RF Scanning and SAP)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must work overtime as required
  • Must be able to work weekends or second shift on a rotating basis performing both receiving and issuing duties
  • Required to work annual shutdown(s) on rotating 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week.
  • Supports and meets goals and initiatives set forth by the department
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience

Required Characteristics

  • High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Must have a clear driving record within the past 7 years
  • One (1) year of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
  • One (1) year of experience in SAP or comparable warehousing system
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively coach, motivate and communicate with all levels of organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work shift work, overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled
  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments, (i.e. mill grounds, warehouses, outdoors, etc.). May work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug screen
