Title: Converting Manager

Provides leadership to production supervisory and scheduling teams, manages production of the facility, and participates as a member of the site leadership team. Directs the safe manufacture of all products at the lowest cost consistently with established specifications, quality, quantity, and delivery.
- Responsible for managing Extrusion, Lamination and Rewinding departments to ensure equipment is running efficiently and producing quality material that meets or exceeds customer specifications and expectations
- Plans, directs, and manages operations to achieve production goals consistent with plant and divisional objectives; maintains low waste, and ensures production efficiency and quality.
- Identifies cost reduction and improvement opportunities for the manufacturing processes and controls cost throughout the facility.
- Manages and facilitates goals of production and oversees production supervisors and scheduling.
- Manages production efforts across all shifts and with other departments and functions
- Establishes production goals in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and employee development.
- Ensures production operations are conducted in a safe and clean working environment and meet AIB / LEAN / & Housekeeping standards.
- Must be supportive of GPI’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- Supportive and involved in GPI efforts for Lean, 5S and other continuous improvement programs and processes.
- Provides effective communication between departments. Facilitates meetings and intervenes if necessary to achieve goals of facility.
- Seeks to develop best practices.
- Promotes positive culture within facility.
- Works with all employees to maintain a safe environment.
- Develops inventory flow schedule based on production schedules.
- Ensures product quality, production efficiencies and overall productivity that meets or exceeds established standards.
- Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International’s good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies and acts consistently with our core values.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
