- Unwind Operator- Extruder Line

- EDUCATION:

- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)

- Ability to recognize and react to production situations

- Ability to receive instructions and perform the job with little supervison

- EXPERIENCE:

- Entry level, no specific experience required

- RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The unwind operator is responsible for roll preparation and the operation of the unwind station, In, addition, the unwind operator:

- Measures and verifies incoming roll widths against the Production work order
-

-
- Visually inspects incoming material
-
-
-
-
-
- Loads and operates unwind station
-
-
-
-
-
- Empties and lubricates poly pans bands logs as needed and stores logs in warehouse properly. 12 to a stack, band tight as you can

- Cuts and numbers raw retain samples for the supervisor

- Assists extruder line operator as needed
-

- Monitors condition and wear of unwind station

-
- Maintain clean work area
-

- Reads production schedule and plans work accordingly
-

-
-
- Ensure that initial machine startup brake mode is in manual setting
-

-
-
- When line is started up , switch brake into automatic mode. Then proceed back to # 1 laminator and set film edger and monitor this station until machine is running properly

- Verifies Purchase order on raw rolls against Production work order

- Bands paper waste as needed and stores in waster room properly
-

-
-
-
- When job is caught up you will be in position to visually monitor equipment

-
-
- Notifies assistant supervisor anytime absence from machine is required for breaks, restroom, etc.

- When machine breaks out or is down fro any reason, must work toward getting machine back into production as quickly as possible
-

-
-
- Work with other crew members and provide assistance as needed
-

-
-
-
- Watch leaving to much paper on cores after cut overs
-
