Maintenance Technician

Safely performs a variety of complex mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting duties. Assists in equipment PMs as necessary. Actively participates in safety, housekeeping, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives within the department. This person will be expected to follow all facility safety rules to ensure the safety of co-workers, visitors and contractors.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs troubleshooting of equipment issues, breakdowns and problems.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with the PM schedule.
  • Document work performed in SAP
  • Maintains adequate records of work performed on equipment and that corrective action is taken.
  • Participates in crew communications to ensure that workflow is consistent.
  • Works in a safe manner to assure the safety of all co-workers, visitors and contractors in the facility.
  • Actively participates in general housekeeping.
  • Takes part of on call rotation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Completes all reliability required training in timely fashion.


Required Experience

  • High school Diploma, GED or Certificate in designated field accepted.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Good organization skills.
  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent familiarization of equipment parts and components, both electrically and mechanically.
  • Must provide own tools to perform necessary work.
  • Pay based on experience.
