Title:  1st Shift Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for reviewing for the management of the maintenance systems, the generation of routine and planned maintenance schedule and the support of the maintenance team sin the execution of maintenance. The planner is the key contact and liaison between maintenance, production and several other departments. The incumbent works closely with the maintenance supervisor and maintenance manager to ensure that all internal customers of maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of work planning and scheduling or maintenance experience or maintenance education with maintenance experience.
  • Purchasing experience required.
  • Project management skills (Job scope development, writing work instructions, RFPs, RFQs etc)
  • SAP Maintenance Module experience preferred
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment preferred (GMPs, HACCP etc.)
  • Preventative and Predictive Maintenance processes Experience in co-coordinating and facilitating small teams preferred
  • Electrical and Electro-mechanical systems troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of power transmission systems, drives, conveyors, air compressors, dryers, chillers etc.
  • OEM warranty documentation and service contracts
  • Valid driver’s license for parts pick up or delivery or other travel outside the facility

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Precision measurement equipment experience
  • Proven working knowledge and use of intermediate level Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
    • Proven working knowledge and use of intermediate level excel spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of SAP maintenance system highly preferred.
  • PMC Cup Finishers and auxiliary process equipment preferred (presses, blankers, etc.)
