Job Purpose:

This position assists in a variety of accounting activities including Cost Accounting, Accounts Receivable/Payable for six manufacturing plants.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing and reconciliation of Accounts Receivable
  • Support on daily accounts payables reconciliation
  • Review job closures and alert production of large variances
  • Provide variance analysis for month-end results
  • Help prepare month-end PowerPoint presentation to report performance
  • Conduct daily and monthly inventory reconciliations
  • Maintain and produce inventory and production reports
  • Assist plants with resolving accounting issues
  • Responsible for standard work procedures and continuous improvement
  • Provide support in training employees on company policies and best practices
  • Assists in annual physical counts and cycle counts for inventory management
  • Be hands-on and capable of effective interaction with all levels of management
  • Provide support for ad hoc reporting and analysis for both Operations and Finance
  • Assists with audits and other projects as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related degree
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles along with cost accounting
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Manufacturing Accounting experience preferred
  • Exceptional computer skills required including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - knowledge of ERP systems and SQL is a plus
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work in a high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure, changing priorities and tight timelines/deadlines
  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time


Salary Min:   $50 000,00

Salary Mid:   $66 600,00

Salary Max:  $83 300,00
