Title:  Feeder/Packer

  1. The Feeder/Packer is responsible for working safely.
  2. The Feeder/Packer is responsible for thoroughly inspecting and packing quality cartons at speeds determined by the Finishing Manager, Supervisor, Lead and Operator.
  3. The Feeder/Packer monitors the case count closely and checks the label information for accuracy.
  4. The Feeder/Packer checks for quality problems based on attributes.
  5. The Feeder/Packer will also check for infestation and contamination of the cartons.
  6. The Inspector-Packer reports any quality problem to the Operator immediately.
  7. The Feeder/Packer stamps each case with their red “Inspected By” stamp.
  8. The Feeder/Packer cuts layer and divider boards when needed.
  9. The Feeder/Packer helps keep their work area clean and leaves the area clean and leaves the area clean for the next shift.
  10. The Feeder/Packer helps label cases when machine is on make-ready.
  11. The Feeder/Packer cannot leave their machine without notifying the operator.
  12. The Feeder/Packer is responsible for carrying out any other responsibilities the Supervisor or Finishing Manager may have.
